About this policy

This policy explains how Big Wella (“we”, “us”, ABN 77 683 247 003, Australia) handles information in Big Wella Animal Adventure (“the game”). It covers the app and the web version at bigwella.com/animal-adventure, and applies to everyone who uses the game, wherever they live. Big Wella is responsible for the game and for this policy.

Information we collect

We do not collect, use, store or share any personal information through the game. The game has no accounts, sign-in, registration or age checks, and it does not ask for names, email addresses, photos or any other details.

The game does not access the camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos on your device.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your child’s progress and sound settings on your device only. This information is never sent to us or anyone else, and we cannot access it.

Children’s privacy

The game is designed for children aged 4 to 6 and is made to meet the Apple App Store rules for apps made for kids. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the game collects none at all, so no parental consent is needed to use it.

Advertising, analytics and purchases

The game contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, no in-app purchases, no chat or messaging, and no links to other websites or apps. Because we do not track anyone, the game does not respond differently to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone, because we hold none.

App. The app is fully self-contained and makes no internet connections.

Web version. The web version is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. As with any website, Netlify briefly keeps server logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. We do not use these logs to identify anyone. This policy page also loads fonts from Google Fonts. These providers handle that data under their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

We do not keep any data from the game. Progress saved on your device stays until you delete it: delete the app, or for the web version, clear your browser’s site data for bigwella.com. Press and hold Start over in the game’s Settings to reset progress without deleting the app.

If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to help you, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights and contacting us

You can ask us what information we hold about you or your child (for the game, there is none), ask us to correct or delete anything you have sent us, or withdraw any consent you have given. Email support@bigwella.com. If you email us, we use your details only to reply and never add you to a mailing list.

We aim to respond within two business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Security

Because the game collects no personal information, there is nothing about you held on our systems to protect. The web version is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the game handles information, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and revise the date below. If a change would mean collecting any information from children, we would ask for a parent’s consent first.

Playing

Hold the iPad sideways. Your child moves with the round joystick, taps animals to meet them, and picks the food the animal is thinking of to make a friend. The game speaks every instruction, so no reading is needed.

Settings

Tap the small gear on any screen to change the music, sound and voice levels.

Starting again

In Settings, press and hold Start over for 3 seconds, then confirm. A quick tap does nothing, so children can’t wipe their progress by accident.

No voice?

Check the iPad’s volume, and that Voice isn’t turned down in Settings. If the voice stops after you switch apps, tap anywhere on the screen to bring it back.
